Today the Aida Bella visited the Port of Invergordon, but before it got to Port it would have had to negotiate a minefield of oil rigs. Needless to say it managed very well, so congratulations must go to all involved :)
These are just some of the rigs that are in the firth at the moment, there is quite a few more dotted about which I couldn't fit in the photo. I shall post some more photos showing how busy the Cromarty Firth is. A lot of these rigs have been laid up for a number of years now, which is pretty sad as you would want them out in the sea trying to find us more oil to reduce the huge burden we all have with trying to pay massive hikes to our energy bills. Something MUST change!
